This book light is great for use with a Kindle e-reader, as long as it is in a cover (the clip is too thin to fit onto the device itself). I bought the pink one and it matched my pink CaseCrown cover perfectly! The LED is just bright enough, not too bright to disturb others. I don't know about the battery life, but since I won't be reading with a light very often, this is not a big issue for me. And you can't beat the price!
