Comments about American Optical Flight Gear General w/ Cable Temples:

I found a similar pair of aviator style glasses with cable temples from Ray-Ban, but those came in gold and black, and I specifically wanted silver. Really glad that I got these!! The cable temples keep the glasses in place when I sweat. They are a great shape and size, and the lenses are perfectly tinted! The cable temples are a bit adjustable so that I was able to bend them to fit a bit tighter. These glasses are large (which is what I wanted), but I am a smaller woman, so I was able to get the large frames that I wanted and also my tighter fit. And they look terrific. They don't feel as fragile as other metal aviators I've considered, probably because the sides are slightly wider than most others (another plus). I'm completely happy with the purchase! The only thing I would change if I could, was that the glasses do not slip easily on and off, but I don't think that's possible with cable temples, and it's a very reasonable trade-off for these.
