I buy these glasses for the frames, as I have been wearing American Optical since I was in the service starting in the late 60's. Sadly, I have to put prescription lenses in them now. But I do enjoy the comfort and look.

The American Optical aviator sunglasses I purchased are everything I hoped they would be. They are well made, reasonably priced, and generally an excellent value. I am now recovering from cataract surgery on both of my eyes so sun protection is very important to me indeed. These glasses meet that need admirably.
