Comments about American Optical Flight Gear Original Pilot w/ Bayonet Temples:

Excited to buy American-made "glass" sunglasses instead of the junk and foreign made plastic lenses. No matter what one thinks about cost, one's eyes are worth real glass lens except in sporting events. Receive good quality glasses and you will not forget them.

These sunglasses are made to the same high standards as they were when I served in the U.S.A.F. more than 20 years ago. I still have my originals that were purchased at that time.

I can say only one thing about the original "American optical Pilot sunglasses" they are truly durable! You will never have to buy another pair unless you just want a new pair! I have my original pair that I bought at the Marine Corps Exchange, Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, SC in 1979!!! Thats right, you read that right, over 30 years ago, and in the original case that they came in! And yes they have been to hell an back with me, in multiple vehicles, and military aircraft during my tour with the Marines from 79-to-86. I have dropped them, stepped on them and sat on them. You just can't find anything more rugged. Only thing I might have to do is order replacement arms.
