Comments about Maui Jim Lighthouse:
Extremely lightweight and the frame is very flexible. In fact, my only gripe with these particular glasses are the frame being so flexible that I can't easily put them on with one hand. But that's an extremely small gripe compared to the durability and comfort you get with it being so flexible.
Also, not complaining, but with the frame being so lightweight, the glasses ALWAYS land face down on the lens whenever they fall or are dropped. Might scratch them if not careful.

Cool, durable, and protective.

I tried these on at Sunglass Hut in the local mall and loved how super lightweight they are -- You can barely feel them on your face! Once I made sure I had the right model on here, I ordered and saved a good $20 compared to buying at full retail at the mall with tax. I liked the Rootbeer and Polarized HT (Greenish tint) as well, but in the end I had to go with the classic Black/Smoke Gray. The lens seems better than my old Oakleys and clarity is amazing.

Last year, I bought an amber-colored pair of Maui Jim's. I liked the design, but they did scratch rather easily. Earlier this summer, I compared my amber glasses to my friend's gray lensed Maui Jim's. It was a very bright day and the gray lenses were vastly superior to my amber ones.
My new Maui Jim's are great: Good looking, comfortable, good coverage without being oversized. The gray lenses cut out more glare than the amber lenses did and are darker. They are great for bright daylight. It is too soon to tell how truly scratch resistant they are.

It has been recommended that drivers wear sunglasses during heavy downpours. The Maui Jim HT polarized lens is unsurpassed for this purpose!! This lens also cuts glare on cloudy days and at dusk. However, the HT lens is not for bright sun. I've tried others and these are the best!!
