THIS IS ONLY FOR THE AMBER SOLAR SHIELDS: It does not apply to the gray and bronze Solar Shields which are terrific.
There was no warning when I ordered these that there's a caution NOT FOR USE WHILE DRIVING. I have the bronze and gray Solar Shields which are old and scratched. I would have appreciated the warning since the primary time I use sunglasses is when I'm driving.

Recently had cataract surgery followed by all sorts of complications, so my eyes need all the protection they can get. These sunglasses block glare but let enough light in that they don't obscure vision, unlike some darker sunglasses. They also fit well over my prescription glasses. I wish they were more scratch-resistant and a bit more sturdily made-- the arms feel flimsy.

The sunglasses seem to be solar shields, but they are more like the freebies the eye dr gives you. Not what you'd find at the pharmacy or dept store. You're better off buying on sale at the store.

I am very pleased in every way with these glasses. They fit me perfectly and the grey tint is neither too dark nor too light. I use them for driving and the image is not distorted. I feel confident that the design protects my eyesight. My husband ordered the amber tint and he has a problem getting used to it. I think he would have been happier with the gray ones.

I get them for my husband and he like them very much. On the paper it said that it was to come with a towel to clean them and it was not there.
